This traditional use of stamped symbols is still used widely today in the Native American culture. This cuff has a great large cut out arrow adorned with a bright blue round turquoise. To stabilized this large arrow, the sterling silver band divides into three segments at the centre and rejoins tapering around the the wrist. On the inside of the cuff is marked 'sterling'.

This cuff is so amazing! It's a classic example of the handmade Navajo pieces crafted around the 1940s. The heavy sterling silver band is embellished with traditional Navajo silversmith techniques, yet it exudes a subtle art deco look as well. There is an oval shaped piece of turquoise sitting the centre of the cuff surrounded by an ornate design. The stone is a stunning shade of icy ocean blue and has an incredible stoney grey matrix running throughout. If you look closely at the stone it almost feels as though you're staring at a birds eye landscape of glacial arctic plains from the sky above. This cuff is an absolute stunner and is the perfect statement piece for someone who appreciates not only beautiful adornments, but also values the history and culture held within these vintage treasures.
